Accounting Industry Book
Two industry friends were working on their doctoral degrees and conversations got going that eventually turned into a book. Much of the content was based on their individual research, looking at the future of the accounting industry. My job was to get it out the door in time for their already chosen launch date.
Interior Layout
The interior layout was fairly straightforward, with the need for special treatment of chapter titles and quotes used as subtitles. They also had some places and special sections where they wanted to give people room to write out their thoughts on what the chapter had covered. I also laid out a version for the Kindle.
Cover – Sort of
The authors did their own cover design on Canva. My job was to double-check that everything was where it should be and to set up a version for hardcover on Amazon KDP, which has different specs from the paperback.
